The International Training Group has delivered critical firefighting and emergency response equipment valued at over $600,000 to the Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS), reinforcing its commitment to strengthening fire safety and emergency preparedness across Liberia.
The delivery ceremony brought together senior government officials, including Minister of State Without Portfolio, Mamaka Bility and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Richard Nagbe Koon, Rep. Michael Thomas, along with key national stakeholders.
The delivered items included boots, helmets, hoses, protective gear, medical supplies, and life-saving equipment such as AED machines and a stretcher—resources aimed at improving response times and enhancing firefighter safety.
Director G. Warsuwah Barvoul Sr. emphasized that fire prevention requires collective effort, while national leaders reaffirmed their support for continued investment in the Fire Service.

International Training Group Donates $250,000 in Equipment to Liberia National Fire Service.
On April 7, 2025, the International Training Group of Companies, in collaboration with its U.S.-based partner, the International Training Force, proudly donated USD 250,000 worth of fire safety equipment to the Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS).
The donation included a complete set of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to help protect frontline firefighters throughout Liberia. In addition, the International Training Force, led by Patrick McDermott and Tyrone Jarret, made an exceptional contribution of a 65-inch Smart Board to support advanced classroom instruction at the LNFS Training Academy.
The International Training Group's co—heads, Garcon Morweh and Chief Prince N. Kiepea, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting public safety, firefighter training, disaster readiness, and emergency response in Liberia.
The LNFS under Director G. Warsuwah Barvoul, Sr., has remained a strong and open partner in improving national fire response services. His collaboration has been instrumental in making impactful contributions like this possible.
We also thank Hon. Speaker Richard Nagbe Koon, a tragic fire incident survivor, for his tireless advocacy for stronger fire service infrastructure and national safety. Monrovia, Liberia – February 2025 – In a powerful effort to strengthen the leadership and operational capacity of Liberia’s fire service, Battalion Chief Prince N. Kiepea of Baltimore, Maryland, USA, volunteered his time during his visit to Liberia in February 2025 to train senior leaders of the Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS) on leadership traits, chain of command, and incident management.
With years of frontline experience and leadership in emergency services, Chief Kiepea led a series of workshops and interactive sessions, focusing on developing strong leadership principles, reinforcing discipline through the chain of command, and effectively managing complex emergency incidents.
“Leadership is critical in the fire service. It determines how we respond to emergencies, how we protect our teams, and how we serve our communities,” said Chief Kiepea during one of the sessions. “I am honored to share what I have learned to help strengthen the leadership of Liberia’s National Fire Service.”

Roberts International Airport, Liberia – November 2024 – In a continued effort to support and strengthen Liberia’s firefighting capacity, the International Training Group of Companies (ITGC), with the help of Newton County, Georgia (USA), through Deputy Chief of Operations Kregg Lumpkin, donated essential fitness and training equipment to the Roberts International Airport Fire Department.
The donation included four treadmills, 19 training buckets, and elliptical machines, all of which were intended to improve the physical fitness and readiness of the airport's firefighters.

Monrovia, Liberia – June 2024 – In an incredible show of service and dedication, Battalion Fire Chief Prince N. Kiepea of Baltimore, Maryland, USA, volunteered his time in June 2024 to conduct intensive fire training drills with the Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS).
Chief Kiepea, a proud Liberian native, spent several days delivering live fire training sessions. These sessions covered critical skills such as fire suppression tactics, search and rescue operations, firefighter survival, and rapid intervention team (RIT) drills. His hands-on training provided real-life scenarios to help Liberian firefighters improve their response to emergencies.
“It’s an honor to return home and share what I’ve learned over the years,” said Chief Kiepea. “Our firefighters are heroes who deserve the best training to protect lives and property, even with limited resources.”

Roberts International Airport, Liberia – May 2024 – As part of their continued commitment to supporting fire services in Liberia, the International Training Group of Companies (ITGC) and International Training Force (ITF) visited Roberts International Airport (RIA) in May 2024 and donated several gallons of paint to help renovate and beautify the Fire Department building at the airport.
The visit took place while ITGC and ITF were in Liberia for the International Firefighters’ Day celebrations, and focused on strengthening partnerships with critical emergency services such as the airport's fire department.
During a brief ceremony, Managing Director Jero Mends-Cole and Assistant Director Egon Kuiah of Roberts International Airport joined ITGC and ITF officials to receive the donation and discuss the importance of maintaining a professional and safe working environment for firefighters and first responders.
